TGCDT: Celebrate You - Stampin' Up! Bloom & Grow Stamp Set

How has it been a month since the launch of The Gentleman Crafters Design Team! I honestly couldn’t have expect the A’s much as love and support as you all offered me and the other guys. You’re all amazing and I know for me at least it very much appreciated.

That’s the soppy stuff all over with don’t worry, know onto the card! If this is your first time hopping with us guys then it’s important that I disclose that we only work under one theme; Share What You Love. Who needs fancy themes when all you need to do is do what we are here to do anyway!

Today’s card is using one of my absolute favourite stamp sets; Bloom & Grow. I wasn’t use I’d use this stamp set as much as I have, I thought it might have been a little one trick wonder. Boy was I wrong, I have a long list the length of my arm of different ideas on how to use it. For today’s card I heat set it in white; clear would work perfectly well too so use whatever you have to hand. This will work to resist the ink.

The colours I’m using are Blackberry Bliss, Crushed Curry & Shaded Spruce, when using a watercolour I always try to use bold and deep colours such as these. The reason for that is purely for the vibrancy. You can easily imagine this in softer subtle tones which would be a completely different style! I challenge you to play with your inks and the amazing colours.

We have some super cool buttons with all our handsome faces; this way you can actually know who we are by more than just our names!
